It’s getting warmer here in Vernon, and soon the ice will be melting. But it’s a different story in Finland.
Finnish writer and energy expert Janne Käpylehto created an ice carousel in Lohja, Finland, and within a week, it went viral.
First he cut out the 40 ft circle with a chainsaw, and then used a solar powered outboard motor to spin the ice.
And then of course, the fun happened. They built a little fire on the ice, along with some chairs and a table.
Now Janne wants to take his idea to Helsinki, and build an even bigger carousel.
