Did you ever skip school, but you did it for what you thought was a very good reason? A Brisbane, Australia teenager did just that and not only did he go to a Bruce Springsteen concert Thursday night, but he got to sing and play guitar along side Springsteen!. The teen had been holding up a sign requesting to share a song with “The Boss”.
Springsteen brought a kid onstage to perform “Growin’ Up” with him. After being handed a guitar, Springsteen offered him a lesson saying, “When I was your age, I got my first guitar. I brought it home. I realized, it wasn’t about how well you played it, but how good you looked doing it. So I got in front of the mirror and I tried some different poses.”
The Brisbane Times reports:
The teenager is reportedly Nathan Testa, who shared the stage with Springsteen at the age of 11 when the musical legend played in Brisbane in 2013.
It is not known whether the performance was pre-planned.
