Have you ever driven the I-5? It’s pretty nutty, and I’ve only taken it a handful of times, usually on vacation.
But imagine having to use that freeway every day, and have to sit in the unbelievable traffic every day.
Makes me not miss living in Vancouver at all.
So when a traffic jam hit Seattle the other day, I’m sure commuters just rolled their eyes and turned up their radios.
Now here comes the hero of the story, the Tacos El Tajin food truck.
After a tanker overturned and caused traffic to be stopped for 3 hours, the clever food truck operator opened the doors and started serving tacos, even accepting debit.
Opportunist? Or hero of the common people? Maybe both, but either way good on him.
Next thing you know there will be concession stands on the side of the 405.
