Time to stir the pot.
A mom from Australia has been “lunch box shamed” for giving her son a slice of chocolate cake to bring to school.
The note read: “Your child has chocolate slice from the Red Food category today,” accompanied with a frowning face. “Please choose healthier options for Kindy.”
Kindy refers to Kindergarten in this case, but that’s not the point.
What do you think of this? Is it okay to shame someones lunch choices?
The mom’s friend posted a photo of the note on Facebook with the caption: “My friend (mother of 8 healthy children, what follows relating to no. 7) received this today from her 3 year old’s kindy. I told her to put in two slices tomorrow and tell them to get lost.”
As was expected, a flood of comments filled the post, both good and bad.
