Before we get started, yes this is the second blog I’ve written in a week span about the royals, and yes, I’m entirely okay with it. (I have a bit of an obsession, okay?)
Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth was unveiling a national memorial in London. As always, she said hello and shook hands with a number of people, and at one point, stopped to receive a bouquet of flowers from a young boy and his mother.
Most of us would be on our best behaviour when meeting the Queen, but a 2 year old who is probably hungry, bored, restless, and all around not interested, it can be hard to sit still and act polite.
So when it comes time to give the Queen flowers, the young boy squirms out of his mom’s arms and tries to sit on the ground.
The best part about this? Her Maj is a great grandmother, and she clearly doesn’t care. She just smiles and takes the flowers, what a gem.
