Why do we celebrate milestone birthdays? I guess as we get older, we stop putting so much emphasis on one year in particular and celebrate instead every 5 or ten years so we can have big elaborate parties.
Usually this is done in your 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s…but what about when you’re over 100? What about when you’re turning 150?
When you’re Canada, you go big. This year there will be celebrations across the nation, and right here in Vernon the place to be will be Polson Park for family fun. Live music, face painting, and of course cake.
