Last year, before the release of a new season of Gilmore Girls on Netflix, pop up shops of Luke’s Diner began surfacing in places like Vancouver and Toronto.
Obviously it created some hype, because the revival garnered 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, which isn’t easy to do, by the way.
Not only were people excited to see the quirky mom-daughter duo back on screen, they were also pretty happy to get their hands on exclusive ‘Luke’s’ cups and paraphernalia, because if you know anything about Gilmore Girls, coffee is life.
Many months have passed since the debut of ‘A Year in the Life’ and those close to the show have said there won’t likely be another season, but fans do have something to look forward to if they enjoyed Luke’s pop up coffee shop.
Scott Patterson, the actor who played Luke, plans to launch his own coffee brand – Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee.
There aren’t a whole lot of details on when the brand will be available, only that Patterson is “obsessed” with coffee.
Given the shows love for caffeine, I think Scotty P’s will do just fine.
