In an outstandingly Canadian moment, an RCMP officer in Red Serge chases a black bear. This is absurdly Canadian – even for us.
Sgt Clayton Wilbern, currently stationed in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, was searching for the owner of a lost wallet when he became aware of the black bear. Apparently The bear started making its way toward a playground full of children, and that’s when Sgt Wilbern took action. This all happened in the Waterton Lake townsite.
So, the story is legit, and it is a police officer doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing – protecting people. Just for a minute though, look at the story from a tourists perspective and understand that this is why Canada is so beloved on the international stage. And the video out of context, is the best actual LOL moment I’ve had in a while.
Canadians are bad ass. https://t.co/y3of8CZ00X
