40 years ago today Elvis Presley died and every year on this date thousands of fans make the pilgrimage to Graceland to mark the anniversary. But it might be the last year for many fans who are upset with a new $28.75 charge to visit Elvis’ grave during the vigil. While the $28.75 pass also gives fans access to the new $45 million entertainment complex, some fans felt the charge was too steep. Taylor Swift fans are not liking the courtroom sketch an artist drew at her recent trial. Some accused Jeff Kandyba of intentionally drawing Taylor badly because he favored the DJ in the case. However, Jeff defended his work by saying Taylor was hard to draw because she’s so pretty.
P!nk will be this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at MTV’s 2017 Video Music Awards. Pink will also perform during the show and they’ll premiere the music video for her newest song, “What About Us,” just before the event.
Luis Fonsi has been named as a tourism ambassador for Puerto Rico. Fonsi will star in a new tourism campaign inviting visitors to explore the island where the video for ‘Despacito’ was filmed.

Foreigner fans will like this. Lou Gramm, Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood played a three-song encore with the current lineup last month and the surviving original members will get together in Michigan this fall for a show that’ll be filmed. Mick Jones says it’s possible there may be more appearances by the original group.
For the first time since 2009, Drake isn’t on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. That’s when his first hit, “Best I Ever Had,” debuted on the chart and it ends a record run of 431 consecutive weeks on the charts.
Shania Twain has joined the cast of John Travolta’s new racing movie ‘Trading Paint.’ Filming began this week in Alabama, although details of Shania’s role weren’t announced. Twain will also be a guest performer on Jimmy Fallon tonight!
Kenny Rogers will receive the first-ever lifetime achievement award from the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum. Rogers has authored several books on photography and holds an honorary masters degree on the subject. Kenny will be honored by the group this November.
Dolly Parton has announced that she’ll release her first-ever children’s album. The album is called ‘I Believe in You’ and it’ll include a new recording of “Coat of Many Colors.’ The album will be out September 29th with proceeds going to Dolly’s Imagination Library program.
Also on NBC’s: America’s Got Talent results show tonight, last season’s winner Grace VanderWaal will perform.
