Moving can be a very stressful event, it’s overwhelming and there’s never enough packing tape. This weekend I had the pleasure of packing up my apartment and moving… thankfully I’m only re-locating up the street.
There are a ton of resources out there for how to pack dishes properly (vertical, not horizontal btw), and what size box to use for books as opposed to clothing, but what about tips on your mental health? After all, moving is one of the most stressful life events we can have.
I’ve moved to Vancouver (and back) a few times, so I thought going a few blocks away would be a breeze. Now that I think about it, I shouldn’t have been so carefree. So today’s Jen’s Favourite Things, like so many of them, is a retrospective blog.
