Police have issued an image of a suspect after a Kelowna motel was robbed by an armed man.
A man wearing a mask who was carrying a shopping bag and a knife entered the Super 8 Motel in the 2500 block of Highway 97 Friday around 9pm.
He threatened to harm the clerk and demanded money, fleeing with an undisclosed amount to a waiting vehicle.
Police are looking for a Caucasian male, in his mid to late 20’s, 5’6 to 5’8” tall, approximately 125 pounds, with brown eyes and a thin face. He was seen wearing a pair of light blue jeans, a dark coloured athletic jacket, white sneakers, a white or cream coloured Hurley hat with dark emblem, a light coloured bandana over his face and a pair of black gloves.
“Although the victim was physically pushed by the suspect during the robbery, she was not physically harmed,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “Our investigation continues at this time as we process physical evidence secured at the scene.”
