Vernon’s Salvation Army will add an evening session for its Christmas hamper interviews for families and individuals in need of assistance.
Lieutenant Stefan Reid says the House of Hope will be open Monday December 4 for interviews from 6 to 7:30 pm.
That’s for people unable to apply at interview sessions today and Thursday.
Reid says they want to give people who have full time jobs during the day a chance to apply.
He also reminds people to bring ID’s for everyone in the household along with all income and expenses.
“This will make the process of applying much smoother,” says Reid.
If people have any questions, they can contact the Salvation Army House of Hope at 250-549-4111 or visit their Facebook page at The Salvation Army – Vernon, BC.
