It’s been a busy day at the Vernon Winter Carnival office.
Tickets for the 58th annual event in February went on sale, and special events coordinator Vicki Proulx says they had people waiting outside the door.
“Mostly on the phones it was Suds N’ Cider. Online, though, ticket sales have been great, not just Suds & Cider but a few other events are close to sell-out, which is great,” Proulx tells Kiss FM.
The 500 tickets for Suds N’ Cider sold out in 20 minutes.
“Unwind downtown is selling quite well. It’s probably close to sell-out I would say, so if people want to get their tickets for that, they should jurry. The Chill Cook Off has sold a lot of tickets as well,” says Proulx.
“We have a few new events that are very limited tickets, so things like the Origami and Tea, the Lego Build and Lunch, The Mother-Daughter Tea, those are all looking quite popular and selling a lot of tickets.”
