Avocados are all the rage these days, and apparently, all the cultural fuss has influenced renowned pastry chef Dominique Ansel to create a masterpiece called the “Huevocado” – a bright-green chocolate form in the shape of an avocado that is filled with mini white-chocolate truffle eggs. They say there’s no actual avocado in the recipe and it is only available for a limited time at the bakery’s Los Angeles location. You can see more edible creativity HERE.
It took more than 4 weeks to handcraft this 200 kilogram, 2.5 metre, 436,000 calorie monstrosity (a beautiful monstrosity, mind you) on display in the atrium of Fairmont Dubai in preparation for Easter. They say this may be the world’s largest chocolate egg.
But the world’s largest Easter egg – period – is actually in Canada. Hidden away in a little town called Vegerville, Alberta. The town has a very large population with Ukrainian heritage, and is home to not only the Pysanka Festival, but also the worlds largest Ukrainian Easter Egg.
