If you and the family are looking for an “eggscellent” adventure, there are a few Easter Egg Hunt events to get you hoppin’. Friday, March 30, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. there’s the Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Armstrong Ladies Club!
Memorial Park 10:15 am start
For ages 0 – 10 (gr. 5) – 3 different age groups
Free to participate
As well this egg hunt is happening in Lake Country:
“Join us at Jack Seaton Park on Good Friday. Fun for all ages, egg hunt, entertainment, balloons, painted bunny noses, playground, hot-dogs, and hanging out at the park. Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy it all.
Sign-up for egg hunt begins at 10 am for all kids ages 1-12 years.
Family Entertainment by Clinton W. Gray at 11:15 am.
Egg Hunt starts at 12 noon sharp!
This is a free event, however all kids participating in the egg hunt need to be signed up by 11:45 am at a registration table at the event.
Lake Country Lions Club will be selling hot dogs and drinks, or bring your own lunch to enjoy.
Please leave your dogs at home as the park will be very busy with children and chocolate.
An ASL interpreter will be provided at this event for the enjoyment and participation of the deaf and hard-of-hearing members of the community.”

Kaloya Regional Park at 16061 Trask Road Lake Country BC. Tracy mentioned that the Interior British Columbia Association for Injured Motorcyclists is putting on the Easter Egg Hunt and “plastic eggs will be put out and you turn them in for a goody bag.
1075 Beach Radio Facebooker Gayle Carson also mentioned that there will be an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday in Falkland at the Historical Park. We also received a Facebook message from 1075 Beach Radio on-liner Valdine Woida who says “Hi there ! I live next door to the Falkland Historical Society’s Museum…..On Sunday it’s our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. We own the Motel next door…The Highland Motel…Please advise people/families, that they can park behind the Motel and walk through the back gates…its safer. THANK YOU !” Valdine also says the hunt runs at 11:30 for 0-6 year-olds and at 11:45 AM for 7-11 year-olds.
