A major snowstorm hit Montreal recently, dumping 36 cm of snow over the snow. And while most locals were probably stressed by the situation, Simon Laprise looked at the blizzard as a chance to have a little bit of frosty fun.
With some creativity…and yes, a whole lot of snow…Simon made a life-sized sculpture of the vehicle from ‘Back To The Future’, a prank intended to pull a fast one on the city’s snow plow. Instead, the gag caught the attention of Montreal police officers.
The officers, once they realized it was a sculpture, played along and wrote a ticket for his illegally parked vehicle. Instead of the ‘car’ being towed, Laprise got off with a warning and his DeLorean-like creation got a thank you message from the on-duty officers. A printed ticket was left under the tree branch windshield wiper and said, “You made our night.”.
Laprise’s work was not up for long, though. It was destroyed that same night. ~ Jason
