We’re all busy, from work to soccer practice to getting in 8 hours of sleep…it’s hard to get a moment to yourself. But before you turn down that offer to go for a drink (or for coffee, or just a walk) after work today, think about what it could do for your health.
Researchers at Oakland University found that experiencing rude or negative behavior at work was linked with insomnia, and the best way to remedy that was to detach and do something relaxing after work ie: getting a drink with a friend!
So don’t bring all of that negativity home, detach by going for a drink, doing yoga, or just going for a walk. It will make you sleep better.
