Alarm anxiety. It’s certainly a modern issue, and it’s becoming a problem for many. A Sleep Coach in Australia reports that more and more people are losing sleep because they’re concerned their alarms won’t go off. The phenomenon relates to “the stress of not getting enough sleep before your alarm goes off (and) manifests from knowing the impact that our lack of sleep quality will have on us”, according to Elina Winnel.
