A man involved in a 15-hour armed standoff with police in Coldstream last February has pleaded guilty in court to four more charges connected to the incident.
Thirty-three-year-old Kelly Blake Torvik appeared in Vernon provincial court today where he pleaded guilty to assault, pointing a firearm and two other firearms charges, according to court records.
In an earlier appearance, Torvik entered a guilty plea to uttering threats.
During the February 5th standoff, a distraught man armed with a gun barricaded himself in a home on Torrent Drive, surrendering many hours later.
A woman was said to have fled the house before police arrived after being assaulted.
Torvik remains in custody while a technical suitability report is compiled.
He appears in court again July 5th.
