On a blustery morning that kept our local crews busy comes a reminder on just ONE way to remain respectful to emergency workers, although it should go without saying..
Never, ever park in front of a fire hydrant.
A group of firefighters in Hamilton Township, New Jersey decided to send this message loud and clear to one motorist while responding to a recent house fire. In a moment straight out of ‘Backdraft’, crews broke through the front windows of an Acura sedan so they could run the rose through it. They then posted photos of the car to the Hamilton Township’s Professional Firefighters Facebook page, along with a not-so-subtle caption reminding people not to make the same mistake.
The firefighters quickly shut down the blaze, and no one was injured. Except for the Acura. ~ Jason
