Just matching a couple of numbers on Keno card can be difficult.
But you might need a lot of horseshoes to match all the ones chosen.
Susan Jenkins of Vancouver couldn’t believe it after winning a record-breaking $400,000 Keno & Keno Bonus retail prize, for matching ten out of ten numbers on July 20th..
She bought a Quick Pick ticket at her local convenience store – Hasty Market in Vancouver – and then drove home and looked the numbers up on bclc.com and was shocked to see she was a winner.
“The first person I called was my boyfriend, then my mom and kids. They were all so happy for me….we were all kind of freaking out!”
Jenkins says she plans to enjoy more of her favourite activities, such as golfing, boating and traveling.
She also plans to save for retirement and her children’s education.
“I have one word to describe this win,” she beamed, “Exhilarating!”
It’s the largest Keno prize ever won at a retail location in B.C.
The largest-ever Keno prize, won online through PlayNow.com, was $500,000 on the May 15, 2013 draw.
