A search for a missing child in Kelowna has ended successfully.
Police say a missing 5-year-old boy has been located safe and sound, and they thank all those who assisted with the search.
Police put out an advisory just after 11 am asking for public’s assistance as they searched for the boy, last seen riding his bicycle in the South Pandosy area.
Multiple officers responded to the area, searching on foot and by vehicle.
An update was issued 8 minutes later that the boy had been found, safe and sound.
“RCMP wish to thank all those who assisted with this search, and express our appreciation to our partners with Central Okanagan Search and Rescue who were in the process of calling out volunteers,” says Cpl. Jesse O Donaghey.
