I usually don’t like to stray from tradition, if something is good and has been for a really long time…why change it? So I was a little surprised at myself for wanting to try this new pizza.
I know it’s jarring to see mustard on pizza but stay with me here, the makers of the glorious invention add corned beef, sauerkraut, and tons of cheese, plus it’s baked in a square pan so you get crispy deliciousness on every side.
The owners of ‘Lions and Tigers and Squares’ in NYC say the unique pizza was created in New Jersey when a drunk patron asked for a mushroom pie, but slurred his words so much that they heard ‘mustard.’
So move over pineapple, there’s a new pizza debate…does mustard belong on pizza?
