Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are asking people to keep an eye out for a couple battery converters stolen from a local business about 10:30 Sunday night.
Police responded to a commercial alarm at Polar Battery, located at 4313 25th Ave, to find the front window smashed and security bars pried open.
It was discovered that four to six power converters, worth approximately $1,000 each, were stolen.
These batteries are commonly used in RV’s and cabins for converting power, and will have the brand name of ‘Power Bright’ on the top in white lettering.
