Picture this, the year is 1996 and you’ve just seen Space Jam for the 15th time, your mom is off the phone (finally) so you hop on the computer and log on to the internet. It takes forever but you final arrive at your destination: The Warner Brothers website.
If you’re feeling nostalgic, good! Because you can actually relive those glory days right now, by heading over to the original Space Jam website, untouched, not updated, just the way it was when you left it.
You might be wondering why this is such a big deal, well other than the fact that it’s pretty cool to see a relic like this still on the internet, it might be note-worthy to say that production is set to start on a second Space Jam next year, with Lebron James replacing Michael Jordan’s iconic character.
Is this a marketing tactic to get us amped up about the sequel? Not sure, seeing as the movie won’t be out for another two years or so. But do I care? No, I just took a sweet trip down memory lane and now I’m feeling like busting out my old Nintendo and playing a round of Mario Kart.
