The North Okanagan Regional District will have elections in three of its five electoral areas Oct. 20th.
Chief election officer Paddy Juniper has officially declared two candidates elected by acclamation.
That includes Hank Cameron in Area E Cherryville, his second term, and Rick Fairbairn in Area D, rural Lumby.
Fairbairn has represented that area since 2002, and is a former RDNO board chair.
Areas B, C and F each have two candidates running.
Incumbent Bob Fleming, who is also the current RDNO board chair, is up against Myles McGovern in Area B (BX Swan Lake), while Mike Randell and Amanda Shatzko are the two new candidates in Area C (BX Silver Star), currently held by Mike Macnabb who is not seeking re-election.
Area F (rural Enderby) is between Denis Delisle and Lori Heins, looking to take over for Herman Halvorson who is running for mayor of Enderby.
