Having a birthday on a Monday is well, a little different, but it’s better then not having one and there’s a full moon tonight! Ha Ha! What does it all mean? Well it means I’ll be playing music loud, eating some amazing food and thanking my friends for the well wishes and looking for that full moon from my deck! I think I’ll also be finding my cd’s to play from the bands I’m about to mention.
Coming up in November, if you’re feeling like a road trip, there are a couple of well-known Canadian bands to check out at one of the coolest venues in Vancouver! But before we get to that info, here’s a question for you. When you think CANADIAN bands from the 80’s and 90’s who do you think of? There are so many to choose from. TALK or TEXT 250-545-7557, Facebook, email email@example.com. One Canadian band I listened to alot of in the 80s, had roots here in the Okanagan in Kelowna, The Grapes of Wrath. That band’s Kevin Kane has joined one of the following bands you can see in November. Have a look!

Here’s to all the amazing Canadian bands from the 80’s and 90’s. You get to here many of them on 1075 Beach Radio!
As I celebrate another birthday, I’m happy to remember that I had the pleasure of introducing radio contest winners to The Pursuit of Happiness on a bus tour. Although I didn’t get to see the Northern Pikes in concert, I did have a chance to interview the band’s lead singer Jay Semko a few years back, and of course I have their music to CRANK tonight with a full-moon!
