The turnout was better than expected for an open house on the Parks Master Plan For Areas B and C.
The event at the BX Fire Hall Wednesday was RDNO’s second consultation to gather feedback on the plan.
Parks Manager Keith Pinkoski says top discussion areas were on the need for natural parks for children, and improved surfacing in some parks.
“You can tell that people are passionate about the future of parks in the area and their insight and feedback is certainly going to be valuable going into creating the final plan,” says Pinkoski.
The final input session will be Tuesday Oct. 2nd in Mutrie Dog Park from 4 to 7pm
Residents unable to attend the booths are encouraged to provide feedback through an online survey available to at www.rdno.ca/parksurvey until October 12.
