A recent study/poll from the University of Oxford has found that half of working women say they struggle to balance their careers and family life. Can you relate? The poll of 1,500 people found the following:
48% of working women polled say they are struggling to cope.
17% say they feel as if their life is spiralling out of control.
46% said having their life feeling like it’s in a constant state of disarray left them feeling unhappy and unsettled (just 30% of men said the same).
44% of women say they believe the demands of work and home are too much.
19% of women say they’ve been reprimanded by their boss for bringing their personal life into the office.
So fellow working Moms and Dads, what kind of perks do you have at work? Have you ever brought your child/children to work with you?
This meteorologist did. Susan Martin took her working parent game to a whole new level when she went live on-air and delivered the weather report with her one-year old strapped to her back in an effort to encourage other busy parents and colleagues to support International Babywearing Week.
