October 31st is Halloween…the night when kids go door to door dressed up as witches and firemen and ask for candy. That’s the Halloween we all know and love, mostly because whatever age you are you most likely get to indulge in a peanut butter cup or a snickers bar, and that makes everyone happy. But did you know about “Workplace Halloween”? It usually happens about one week after October 31st, when people bring in the candy that just won’t go away. You know, rockets, or packs of raisins, or the dreaded hard as rock toffee. In an effort to prevent those terrible sweets from seeing the light of day, the City of High Point, North Carolina, decided to issue a “ban” on the questionable confectionery.
Most people seem to get that it’s a joke, but other’s are quite offended, and strangely enough some people even LIKE these candies (what are they, anyway?). But it brought up the bigger question…what is the worst Halloween candy? I’m not saying there is anything wrong with free candy, but let’s be honest…we all have one we don’t like.
