Representatives from 11 different religions are scheduled to meet in Vernon to discuss how to bring peace to the world.
The event called Pathway To Peace, will be held tonight at the Vernon Recreation Centre.
Organizers say religions ranging from the United Church, to Buddist, Sikh, Latter Day Saints, and Islam will be on hand.

It’s free to attend, and you can register at www.worldreligionsconference.ca
The conference begins at 6 pm and features Moderator, Gordon Oliver of Kelowna, Byron Louis, Chief of the Okanagan First Nation, Garrett Brisdon of Baha’i, The Reverend Elizabeth Bowyer of Trinity United Church, Umang Patel, Hindu Faith, Imam Tariq Azeem, Islam, Kent Burnham, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rev.
