God bless you, Ohio State University. While seem might think a new snacking option being introduced for finals week is unusual – I think it’s absolutely awesome.
The Ohio Pork Council, a trade group for Ohio pork producers, installed a BACON vending machine on campus…
The machine, located at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, dispenses cooked, ready-to-eat Smithfield, Hormel and Sugardale bacon. Proceeds from the machine, which charges $1 for a strip of bacon or a handful of bacon bites, are being donated to the school’s meat science program.
The machine is scheduled to remain at the school the rest of this week.
Good idea? Hoping it will catch on? Mmmmmmm…………..bacon! ~ Jason
