Nominations are now being accepted for Vernon’s 2018 Good Citizen of the Year.
The Junior Chamber International presents the award to celebrate a person who has made a positive impact to the community, who’s community involvement and volunteerism goes above and beyond.
The nomination deadline is Jan. 11.
“The committee is asking that all nominations include a letter describing why the person you’re nominating should receive the award and their contributions, as well as the nominator’s contact information,” says JCIVernon2019 president Robbie Hoyte. “If you’ve nominated someone in the past who has not yet been a recipient of the award, we encourage you to nominate them again.”
To nominate someone or get more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at Illusions Hair and Body at 2601 Highway 6.
